Planning a special event for a group can be a daunting task. A vacation or retreat can be a memory that last a life time. There are several things you can do in advance that will help to ensure a pleasant stay for everyone... and SAVE MONEY!!! As they say, the devil is in the details.
- BOOK WELL IN ADVANCE:
Many families & groups return on the same dates every year. Several dates may be reserved years in advance, while three day weekends book months ahead. If you're flexible with dates, an alternative weekend might save you a lot of money. - MAKE DINING ARRANGEMENTS:
The grocery store might not be the least expensive option. They count on weekend visitors too. By the time you get all the ingredients the final bill might be shocking. Combining food with your stay will save you valuable money & time. - ACTIVITIES & ENTERTAINMENT:
Make sure there is at least one planned activity you do as a group. You could go for a hike or ATV ride on the property, maybe a ski trip or fishing. We always have discounts for the attractions. While the lodge is full equipped with just about everything you'll need, often people forget their favorite music or MP3 player. We have many TV's, but you might want a DVD player for the kids.
